You’ll witness the magic of Christmas through the eyes of two orphaned brothers in Corvallis, Oregon. You’ll explore family dynamics around a turquoise jewelry collection that becomes a symbol of healing and forgiveness.

Some of these stories are drawn directly from lived experience, the log entries marked with dates and places are testimony to real moments, real people, real lessons learned. Others blend memory with imagination, asking what fiction can reveal that straight memoir cannot. All of them, however, are (mostly) true in the way that matters most: they capture something essential about what it means to be human.
